On Monday 1/18/21 MLK DAY we are releasing a music video tribute, “LongTime Coming”, as a CALL FOR PEACE & UNITY IN THE NATION in honor of the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. & the 11th Annual Peace Week in NYC. Promoting peace, “Long Time Coming” highlights our journey over the past 15 years using our (hip hop) music as a form of peaceful protest against social injustice, gun violence, and also to fight for inclusion & equality. Our commitment to change led to us being invited to Washington DC to perform on Capitol Hill and speak at the White House in the footsteps of Dr.King when he was invited to speak about the “civil rights act” of the 60’s. We hope “Long Time Coming” music video is a timely & timeless reminder of how the disadvantaged can use their voice in a peaceful way to make change instead of violently like the rioters did recently at the United States Capitol building.
