Disability Hip Hop Jam 2026 Returns to Central Park

4 Wheel City Foundation proudly announces the return of the Disability Hip Hop Jam an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, accessibility, and inclusion taking place on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at the iconic Central Park Bandshell in partnership with Disability Unite Festival.

For the third year in a row, the Disability Hip Hop Jam will bring together artists, DJs, dancers, advocates, and community leaders with and without disabilities for a powerful day of live performances, empowerment, and unity through hip hop culture.

Founded by Namel ‘Tapwaterz’ Norris and Ricardo ‘Rickfire’ Velasquez of 4 Wheel City, the event continues to grow as one of the only hip-hop festivals in the country centered on disability representation and accessibility in entertainment.

Attendees can expect:

  • Live performances from artists with disabilities and allies
  • Celebrity guests & DJs
  • Accessible entertainment experiences
  • ASL interpretation and inclusive accommodations
  • Community resources and advocacy activations
  • A vibrant celebration of Disability Pride Month

The Disability Hip Hop Jam has previously featured groundbreaking collaborations during GRAMMY Week in Los Angeles and major appearances connected to advocacy initiatives across the country. Now, the movement returns home to New York City for another historic year.
