With a bold goal of raising $1,000,000, the fund will provide direct financial assistance, resources, and support to disabled individuals who are often overlooked when help matters most.
A Mission Rooted in Lived Experience
The Disabled Lives Matter Fund was founded by Namel “TapWaterz” Norris, a hip-hop artist, disability rights advocate, and gun violence survivor whose life changed after becoming paralyzed.
Through his journey—and years of community work alongside co-founder Ricardo “Rickfire” Velasquez—one truth became clear:
People with disabilities are often the last to receive help—but the first to be impacted.
This fund was created to change that.
What the Fund Supports
